our national animal in verge of extinction..

There is this news that came in some magazine the number of tigers in India has come to do a meager 4 digit number.. well what is happening??? a lot of questions come up in my head.. what is the government doing?? what is the forest department doing?? what is he doing what is he doing??
has anyone asked what is that i have done??? today i asked myself the question and i was not able to answer.... so here i am writing about tigers the least i can do certainly not the best..

there was this news in the magazine week, that this year is the year of tiger in China it seems and we can expect a lot more poaching of tigers this year compared to the last few years.. is this is something that we can allow.. or let happen..??? each and everyone of us as an indian should think about our pride the pride that we carry in calling the tiger out national animal.. i don't know how many schools still teach their kids that "the national of India is Tiger" i remember learning.. how many Indian children living in the US know what our national is?? there arises another question what is he going to earn by learning that?? i seriously do not know, but i take pride in knowing that.. everyone else should also take pride in knowing this..

now let me get back to the tiger.. so being a tiger year lot of tigers will be poached or hunted and killed and moreover smuggled to china through Nepal.. what is happening, we are killing our tigers to satisfy some foreigner.. what can i do??? nothing but sit and post in my blog.. can i go and guard the tigers.. well if there is only one left i can atleast do that but bloody there 1411 tigers left.. what can i do i am again asking a question for which i have no answer.. i am still searching for an answer.. but what to do i cannot do anything.. what we can do.. we can make people more aware of the situation.. we can tell people not help the government.. we can educate people..

tigers are one of the most oldest and rarest species of living thing.. i just hope the next time i have to see a tiger i can go to a zoo and see rather than in national geographic channel..

save tigers.. lets save our national pride..
